The best way to determine the discharge capacity is to determinethe specific gravity of the electrolyte in lead-acid batteries.Therefore, regularly measure the specific gravity after use toavoid excessive discharge. While measuring the specific gravity,also measure the temperature of the electrolyte. The specificgravity calculated at 20 ℃ should not be reduced to below 80% ofthe discharge value.
