As part of the energy efficiency improvement plan for electricpower equipment, the National Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)formulated the UPS Energy Star Plan earlier this year for productswith power above 1500 watts (including 1500 watts). In order tomeet the Energy Star certification, Liebert APM has been tested bythe UPS certification authority recognized by EPA. Thiscertification process is based on testing the constant state of thepower supply based on average power supply, efficiency, andefficiency changes.
